Role Overview

Impact our company by unifying our development efforts with excellence, while maintaining a growth mindset. Operate heavy equipment to move, separate, and create new material. Additionally, to maintain company property and equipment, perform minor concrete work, and assist in maintaining the Storm Water Pollution Plan (SWPPP) requirements.

Core Functions

Perform general maintenance on developments as instructed, including but not limited to:

• Moving material as needed (dirt, rock, spoils, trash)
• Building and maintaining construction entrances
• Clean back of curb, minor concrete demo and repairs
• Maintain BMP's for SWPPP requirements
• Grubbing and mowing of company raw land
• Locate and mark water and sewer utilities along frontages
• Raise and lower utilities as needed
• Create screened material as needed (rip-rap)
• Perform dirt work as needed on lots, basins, and land
• Constructing mailbox pads and assembling CBU's

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Vision for near, mid-range and far as well as hearing for low, medium and high pitch.
• Requires physical ability for standing, sitting, crouching, kneeling, frequent walking, reaching above head and below waist.
• Frequent walking on uneven surfaces (dirt, concrete, rock, etc.).
• Must have a current and valid driver’s license and must be able to be insured by company fleet insurance.
• To be considered for this position, you must be at least 18 years old in accordance with company policies and applicable labor laws
• Ability to navigate hazardous conditions such as frequent moving vehicles, construction equipment, and various construction materials.
• Ability to lift 20 - 75 pounds.

Hours and Schedule

• 45 hours per week (7:30am-5:30pm, M-F).
• Days and Weekends
• Minimal travel required for company events and inter-region collaboration.
