Role Overview

The Event Specialist will plan, coordinate, and execute events like weddings and corporate functions. Your role includes collaborating with guests, managing logistics, and coordinating with vendors to ensure expectations are met. Strong organizational skills, clear communication, and multitasking are essential to deliver seamless and memorable events.

Core Functions

• Assist guests in selecting venue packages and enhancements, aiming to meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
• Develop and implement creative strategies to generate additional revenue streams during slower periods.
• Schedule and attend monthly meetings and tastings with guests to finalize menu selections and event details.
• Guide the event or wedding planning process from start to finish, working closely with guests to understand their vision and deliver a smooth execution of all event details.
• Manage layouts, seating plans, and facility use.
• Develop detailed timelines, coordinate logistics, and manage the event schedule to ensure all activities are executed on time.
• Prepare and manage event orders, ensuring every detail is accounted for a seamless event.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Vision for near, mid-range and far as well as hearing for low, medium, and high pitch.
• Superior communication skills with co-workers, guests and vendors.
• Requires physical ability for standing, sitting, crouching, kneeling, frequent walking, reaching above head & below waist.
• To be considered for this position, you must be at least 18 years old in accordance with company policies and applicable labor laws.
• Ability to lift 5 - 20 pounds

Hours & Schedule

• 20 – 29 Hours per week
• Days and weekends required
